Energy Performance Certificates are now a legal requirement when letting and selling a property.
The EPC gives prospective tenants or buyer information about the property’s energy efficiency.
It must therefore, by law, be produced prior to advertising a property for rent or sale. We can arrange for an EPC inspection to be carried out on your behalf, by an accredited assessor.
An EPC includes information about a property’s energy use and typical energy costs, as well as recommendations on how to reduce energy use to help save money.
An EPC is valid for 10 years and indicates an energy efficiency rating from A (most efficient) to G (least efficient).
